Turning a Disability into a Business

A little more about our business and how we came to be.

.Hi, I'm Laura, a 38-year-old passionate crafter from Suffolk. Ever since I was a child, I have always loved being outside and crafting. I would spend hours picking flowers to make perfumes or leaving chalk drawings for neighbors. Nature has always been a significant part of my life, with the beach, collecting stones, and climbing trees being some of my favorite activities.

However, these are more challenging now due to a spine operation that changed my life and affected my mobility. Not only did I fall into a depression but I had to accept and learn that I couldn't do all of the things I could before. Through the pain and the sadness, crafting helped take me away.

My children would use this to keep my mind active and also to spend time with each other. This became our thing.

.

Despite the obstacles, my love for crafting never wanes. It is not just a personal journey; it's a family affair. My kids also love helping, making it precious family time that we all treasure.

I pour my passion into various crafting projects, handmade, trendy jewellery, traditional greeting cards and alluring resin crafts.

- I love resin as I love experimenting with different colors and designs to create eye-catching items.
